Finished with Phase 3 of our local business promotion - then decided to add a couple of local businesses from Phase 4. (they have been waiting a long time).
Once again we have a great group of local businesses to visit, support, enjoy, and brag about to all of your friends. #southatlrocks.
CHAIRS. A BAR: Located in East Point, this local hangout reminds you that there will always be a need for a neighborhood watering hole. Enjoy a game of pool, sit on the deck outside, sample some of the best food around, and be surrounded by neighbors and friends, and a waitstaff that will treat your more like family then your own. It was also just rated one of the top bars in Atlanta - so go, mingle, have a laugh or two, and enjoy this great local joint.
Courtesy Cleaners: Located in Hapeville, Courtesy Cleaners does it all. This is a great place for dry cleaning; need something tomorrow - no problem. They also do household items such as bedding, draperies and linens, leather restoration, tailoring and alterations, wedding gowns, and they also have a pick up and delivery service. Their friendly staff always remembers your name, will provide Courtesy bags for easy drop off, and they are convenient for all in the Tri-City area. It will only take one visit and you will become a regular, just like me.
DRIP: Located in Hapeville, what a great place to go in the morning, and to hang out in the afternoon. If you are looking for a unique place to get a great cup of coffee, espresso, some decadent deserts, or breakfast sandwiches then you can't beat DRIP Coffee Shop. Their unique decor is inviting and family friendly. If you need to get some work done, meet with clients, or need some alone time there is plenty of space: the counter, the couch, the many tables or the window seats to enjoy the view. The staff is super and can make recommendations on their coffees if you are a newbie. Make this a regular stop to get your day started - you will be amazed at how quickly you become a regular customer.
Hapeville Corner Tavern: No need to tell you the location - it's in the name. This place has it all and more - great food (who doesn't like fried pickles), a full bar and a beer menu that will make your head spin. Enjoy the outdoor seating in the front of the building, sit at the outdoor bar on the side of the building, or enjoy the atmosphere at one of the many tables inside. This place was designed to make you feel at home so stop in and relax. Go in by yourself and I am sure you will see someone you know to hang with, or take a group - they can accommodate both. Need help deciding on one of their many beers then simply ask the staff - knowledgeable, friendly and fast. Get to know the Corner Tavern because it will become one of your favorite spots in Hapeville.
Kupcakerie: Located in East Point and owned and operated by the nicest people around. If you want a good cupcake then this is your stop. The wide variety and beauty of the cupcakes themselves will make your mouth water. Their cupcakes are made right in the shop and they give you plenty of room to sit and enjoy so have two - no one will tell. You can also order them in advance for a surprise for your office or for a special event. Stop in and meet the owners and they will soon become your friends. Sweet tooth alert, Kupcakerie is calling your name.
Quadrant Fitness/Cross Fit Q4: Now that you have enjoyed all the food and sweets it is time to get your workout on and this gym in Hapeville is the place to go. They offer a variety of classes and class schedules to get you in shape, including yoga; it is almost bathing suit weather so start working out now. Professional trainers, private workout sessions, and classes are all available in this tricked out gym. You need to stop by and meet the owner and make a plan that could change your life - outside and in. We could all do with more exercise, and Quadrant is the place to do it; they are not there to intimidate - they want to help you find your fitness.
